Default Dreading my follow up today

Well it's just what the title reads. I am dreading my follow up appointment today. I already know I need to get back on track but this appointment is going to physically show that to me and my dr with the blood test results. I can only blame myself....well and the fact that they cut me down to 1 metformin tab a day. I did not want to cut it down but because I had my numbers under such great control, back then they said to reduce it. I already have that back up to the full dose.
Now to get myself dressed and out the door to listen to the disappointment in my doctors voice.

I will begrudgingly post my blood results when I get back

Whatever the results are remember "knowledge is power" so use the results as a guide on how to proceed! You'll be OK. :-)

Well I am very happy but I k now it could have been worse. My mess ups have only happened over the last month or so and fortunately my previous work has paid off. Totally still back on the wagon though.

A1c still 5.5
LDL better
HDL better
And I lost 3 pounds from last visit.

To celebrate we are going to the beach. I will walk while the family eats junk that I will NOT touch.

That's great! More proof that just getting back on the wagon is the best thing if you happen to fall off.

Glad it wasn't any worse, Cheryl. And a day at the beach may be just what you need!

The past is the past and should remain there. Today is all that matters. Do what's good for you today, and the future will take care of itself.

Good news! Remember that nightmare night, those BG numbers to keep yourself motivated (and, test the grains/gluten thing - that can make the situation so much worst).

Have a great time relaxing!
