And purely in the interest of getting more fats in your meals . . . butter, Butter, BUTTER . . . melt a pat or three of butter right onto the steak, or whip all that butter up into hollandaise sauce and it's the best thing in the world to drown that asparagus in! Other high-fat sauces work just as well too!

Eating like this would be sinful if it weren't so successful in controlling our blood sugars!

Thanks Shanny. Love Hollandaise sauce! And there were at least 2 tbsp of butter on that asparagus, it doesn't show up much in the pic.
