Talking This made me LOL

So, I found myself at a buffet dinner party with my good friend. I was walking around from table to table, eyeing this and that. I see salad, I move on.... I cruise past some awesome looking roast beef... I spot a table heaped with dinner rolls, biscuits, croutons for the salad, croissants, you name it. After a good ten minutes, I realize I've been standing there like a dope, gaping at this table. I lose sight of my friend, she must've gotten tired waiting for me. Before I know it, I'm in the corner and I've downed two corn on the cob, and I have a heap of still-warm chocolate chip cookies... they soon vanish.....

I open my eyes, I feel COMPLETELY guilty and start berating myself.... it took me a minute to realize-- I had been DREAMING! True story! This is what happens when snow keeps me home from work and I sleep in. I just remembered it today, and told my friend who was in the dream with me, we both cracked up. Yup, I must be crazy!

I hope this made you giggle! Anybody else ever have what I'm now calling a "Sugar Dream"?

I would venture a guess that most of us have had some version of that dream. I know I have every once in a while even now 3 years into lc/mp/hf/keto. Mine seem to revolve around sandwiches, gooey grilled cheese, poor boy, monte crisco, etc.

Not Gramma B, but in these parts a "poor boy" is a big sandwich with many names: e.g., submarine, sub, hoagie.

(Think baguette full of meat and veggies.)
