Default new food pyramid!!!

Progress, not enough change for me but nevertheless progress here in Australia. They have taken carbs and grains in general off the bottom layer and pushed them up one level so the bottom layer is vegie and fruit with fruit being a small percentage. For me and many on here still way too many carbs but at least a step in the right direction.
I have been away in Bali for 6 weeks so forgive me if this has been covered before, bit out of touch.

And still pathologically afraid of fats . . . but as you say, a step in the right direction.

Any step is good. More steps are better. Good news, all the same. Many thanks for sharing, Hillary!

Thanks for sharing. It may not be where we believe it should be, but this is huge step in a very positive direction. This really is good news!

Nice! Here in Canada, they're considering removing fruit juice as a serving option for fruit. About time.
