When the snack table at my work stays too loaded for too long with carby contributions, I make a contribution myself. Flax crackers, cheese, salami, pork skins, etc.

I've used Glucose buddy for several years. I'm not sure what you mean it doesn't sync to the web. It has always been able to sync. After you add your logs, click "Back" at the top left of the page and it takes you to a screen with all sorts of options, one is Quick sync. hit that and all entries go to the website. Glucose Buddy Oddly in Chrome it shows as not secure but in Firefox it is secure.

I can record A1C (July 18 was 11.0 and August 21 was 8.9). I can add notes, and email myself the results in a spread sheet format. The only thing I can't do is synch to the net but it says that is coming soon.

I just TRY to remember all the damage they might be doing and all the damage it would do to me. It is hard sometimes though, no doubt. I wish they would keep their food to themselves, haha. There are ALWAYS pretzels, crackers etc sitting on our back table, annoying but I just eat a few nuts and think about how much better I am for it. It can be VERY tempting but I have yet to give in. This is one time I a m glad I am GF. It makes it twice as easy

What did you eat? Was this the beef & broccoli meal you mentioned earlier?

too much protein effects BS later as well. Protein shows up later. I am always higher at two hours than 1 hour. If I over eat fat I continue to go up and / or not come down but that is just me. I need to balance all meals. VLC, moderate protein and higher fat but not gobs. Again, just me. Saturated fat has always raised me but I am the odd guy out. I m still 80% fat, 15% protein and 5% carbs. Steady I am but this is YEARS of testing every thing

Around 2 am I was super thirsty. Cotton mouth you would call it. I thought oh oh diabetes sign. My sugar must be way high. I measured and it was 81. I went back to sleep. At 6 am it was 98, o food inbetween. Must be that dawn phenomenon they mentioned?

It's strange for how some people will be as low as 67 and feel ok but I reach this range and feel nausea light headed. When I saw my endo he told me that this range from 70 going down I should be careful not to reach here but as I read some of the articles most people seem ok I guess it depends with individual body is this right ? What should be the range for t2?

Hi. I just saw this. Here is what I had.

1 omelette with a bit of cheese and a green pepper
2 a few slices of bacon (said 0 carbs on the package)
1 pear
1 diet Vernors (also said 0 carbs). I get tired of Diet Coke

Stop eating pears and plums and apples and oranges and anything else called fruit. The conventional wisdom may say that those are good foods for a balanced diet, but diabetics canNOT eat their balanced diet. The carbs in grains and fruits will kill us, and they will kill us slowly and painfully.
