I am 41 years old
167 cm tall
79 kg weight
no synptoms of diabatic
i did different tests on 03.01.2012
as following

GTT of 75 mg after fasting 9 hrs and the results as following after taking glucose:

- after 1/2hrs reading was 11
urine was negative
- after 1 hr reading was 11.6
urine was positive 3+
- after 1 1/2 hrs reading was 6.2
urine positive 3+
- after 2 hrs reading was 4.8
urine negative
- after 2 1/2 hrs reading was 3.6
urine was negative
fasting blood sugar was 5.9
Hac was 5.7
cholestrol 4.7
trig was 0.6

HbA1c 5.9 (Feb 2019)
Novarapid = 4-5 at breakfast (no other insulin)
Metformin 1000 mg

Lifesytle: LC, exercise most days

From the above data, I'd say 'No', though the fasting reading is a little bit high.

A1c ~ 5.4
Follow LC/HF diet since Aug 2010
Control only with diet/exercise. No meds.

No one can make a diagnosis, only your doctor can do that. It seems like you may be hypoglycemic though which shows that your pancreas is beginning to become challenged. The thing that would concern me is how high your bg goes initially after consuming glucose. Usually glucose is only present in your urine when you go higher than 180. It seems that your Phase 1 insulin response is dysfunctional, but you still produce insulin with a Phase 2 response, probably too much. We call this insulin resistance and many pre diabetics start out like you do and morph into diabetes. So please discuss with your doctor what steps you can take to control IR.

diagnosed Feb 2007
low carb organic diet
3 T of Coconut Oil daily
moderate exercise- mostly walking 3-5 miles, tennis - 4 hours per week, weight training, hiking on weekends and vacations 7-10 miles

HbA1c 5.3 3/11
HbA1c 6.1 5/12
