Default Disipline & Desire Pay Off

As a type 1 diabetic for 40 years, I've seen my share of gyroscope like swings in my blood sugars over the years. For most of these years (1977 - 2004) I usually ran a A1c of 7.0 to 7.3 and even getting a pancreas transplant in 2004 to become insulin independent for the next 11 years, my A1c range was 5.8 to 6.5 until I lost the pancreas graft in June 2015. Being required to go back on insulin with daily Humalog and Lantus injections, my A1c in June 2015 was 7.1 and since then dropped to 6.5 in Oct 2015, 6.3 in Jan 2016, 5.7 in Apr 2016, and as of July 5 2016, my A1c is 4.9 which is an ave. glucose of 94 with a range of 50 to 125 for the last 90 days. For the first time since I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in Sept 1977 at the age of 21, I feel normal. I also do not use a pump. My goal is to replicate these latest A1c results every month. (A quick note, even with glucose reading in 50's and 60's, I still function without impairment and feel in control without any hypoglycemic episodes)
