While I was out mowing just now I remembered my manners. I need to thank this forum for being here and putting me onto LCHF. And all the members for the inspiring posts.

But probably the single ongoing incentive here, for me at least, is the 'What was your fasting blood sugar this morning' thread. Once I'd started posting in there, there was a lot of pressure to maintain a decent number.

Way to go!!!! I eat tomatoes, too as well as sweet potatoes. We each need to find what works for us.

Wonderful! Marvelous! And it really is rewarding and encouraging to see the change in such a short time, isn't it? That's the effect it had on me when I had mine checked after 2 months as my cardiologist suggested. It sure makes staying on the diet easier.
