Well done - and the right decision. Keep an eye on the numbers and if you don't need medication, don't use it!

I use an app called glucose buddy. Nice and basic one is free. Uploads to the web and can analyse graph etc there. Also emails the data as a cvs so can play with it. Tracks all sorts of things. Nice app.

I use an app called Diabetes Buddy on my iPad. I wanted Glucose Buddy, but it's only for the iPhone. Until they upgrade it, I'll have to do with this one. It's okay, but I find it slow. Anywhoo, it's doing the job I need it to do.

Glucose buddy works on the iPad. Nearly everything that works on the iPhone will work on the iPad.
I did try that one for a bit but prefer gb. They need to do an android version still then I could keep it the phone as well but that could be a little over the top.

Anyone using a One Touch meter can get a free down load cable and software to track their results on their PC. The program is easy to use and the reports are nice to take to the doctor.

My meter kit came with a book. So that is basically how I've been recording.
When I was diagnosed I was testing on top of every hour. When the numbers began to come down that is when I stopped testing every hour and just six times a day (fasting and PP). All of them are always in good ranges lately, so my carbohydrate intake and pill are working appropriately apparently.
