your results are outstanding - very well done indeed! if you a female, scientific studies have shown there is no connection for higher cholesterol associated with increased risk for cardiovascular or coronary heart disease. don't believe me? educate yourself by reading books/articles such as 'the cholesterol myths' or 'cholesterol clarity'. by no means fall for the establishment's push for statins.

i am most of all impressed with your triglycerides and hdl, and the ratio between them. hdl over 50 is good, and yours is an amazing 102! plus the ratio of triglycerides to hdl is all important as an indicator of health, with <2 being good, and <1 being outstanding (yours is 0.87)!!

your A1c shows excellent management/control on your part. so kudos to you all around!

T2, 70 yrs old, never been on insulin, currently on metformin ER 2,000mg/day plus 15mg Actos
WoE since mar 2016: VLC, in ketosis over 4 months, blood ketones avg 1.9 mmol/L
intermediate BG goal: <110 fasting, and PP < 140
A1C: Dx'd 1/2004 in the 8's, by 12/2005 controlled to < 6%, slacked off, then had risen by neglect to 11.9 in Feb 2016, back down to 6.4 as of Aug 2016
