72 mg/dl this morning.

Hopefully this is an indication that my bad cold or whatever it is has run its course. Don't seem to be coughing anymore but physically feeling a bit week. It was a good thing I was in good physical condition before this illness started as I don't know how I would have handled it otherwise.

Question 111

111.00 mg/dL.

@ 8:17am
I don't understand why it is so high when the past week it has been lower? Go figure.

My FBG was 138. The saga of the rollercoaster BG's goes on.

Ok it was 127 this morning and I know the reason why... I had some extra chili last night and when my wife was not watching I taste tested a few chocolate covered pretzels she made. To give an unbiased opinion I had to sample one of each variety she made and I just could not help myself. Will try to be better today.

Best,
fjk2013

You're by no means the only one that does this, I keep telling my wife to cut down on the carbs as she's starting to get a little heavy. So when she makes Banana Bread for example - I eat some so she doesn't eat the whole thing

You guys are making me look bad. Since I went LCHF last summer we haven't purchased a loaf of bread or box of pasta. I'm even cooking keto meals and my wife is eating those instead of my making two versions. (Today is jambalaya at DW's request.) There's still plenty of her favorite sweet and carby snacks in the house, but no more than there always has been here. Oh, and she's lost a few pounds, too. I don't think I'm doing this right...

115 this morning
BH is on a very restricted doctor supervised diet, so no temptations there. Guess I'm lucky!

After a good night's sleep. Have been quite the non-conformist most of my life, yet in regards to diabetes, I just want to be normal.

120 this morning - I'll take it. Still have this cold but I decided not to telework today and go in to work for meetings.

It should be an interesting day for BG levels today as my hypo awareness tends to diminish when I'm all congested
