Well the wife and I went out last night to a Black Angus steak house. I had a hard workout yesterday....ie,.... cardio, dips, pull ups, bench press, squats and military press, (no dead lifts,....I only do dead lifts twice a week). After that I needed a nice fat high protein steak and a few carbs. We don't go out that often and we had some good financial news to celebrate too. So we went all out.....shrimp cocktail, salad, bread, New York strip steak, a little Au gratin potatoes and even some carrot cake that we shared.

As expected my morning reading was a little high, 144. I'm ok with that. I knew it was coming. Strength training requires that you fuel your body on occasion....ok, maybe I fueled it a bit much............

I love this line in your sig
Yes it does. One thing I didn't take into consideration thinking about eating early at work to keep in an 8 hour window was actually having to do my job. Got busy last night and it was the new 3 AM before I got back to my office. I was hungry and started snacking without thinking I should just do without.

BG this afternoon was 103 after 2 nights, 2 more to go.
