I'm beyond the getting old thing. It happens.......

I'm taking several meds and suppliments so I fill 2 pill minders once a month. Each one does 2 weeks worth. Saves me a ton of time in the long run. I see it much more as a time saver.....

121 this morning

Hey what's all this about getting older? I try not to think about that too much although it's definitely happening to all of us so I just try not to think about it.

Sure I wake up some days and if there is a part of me that doesn't hurt or isn't stiff I wonder if there is something wrong. Guess that's life...

I'm having to switch meters due to my insurance writing a new stupid formulary. My strips were only $15 a month, now $60 a month. With a new meter I'll get the old price on the strips for that meter. I've got quite a few of the AccuChek strips so I'll probably be testing more for a while. My new meter will probably be a Walgreens meter. I hate insurance, but I'm glad I have it!

An 80 this morning.

My insurance just covered a new meter and strips in late December. In early January, I get a letter that says they will no longer cover that meter and give me only one choice. I guess that change came out about suprisingly suddenly (sarcasm greatly tempered).
