122 this morning. My experiment with a small amount of rice and beans with my Porterhouse raised my BG to from 95 to 133 last night and it never really recovered this morning.

mbuster, man I feel for you. Are you working 12 hour shifts?

I am soooo happy to be done with those rotating 12 hour shifts. And then sounds like they tacked on an extra graveyard shift for you to work? SMH, I remember that happening to me pretty often too. And "somewhat back to normal"...… that kinda normal would throw the average Joe for a loop. Hope you're doing ok my friend.

325 this morning - as a Type 1 this happens sometimes - especially when you tempt fate and have something to eat before going to bed along with too much red wine without taking any corrective action. Oh well - that's the way it goes. Still had fun!!!
It's just making sure I don't make a habit out of it.

Yes rotating 12 hours. 4 nights on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 nights on, 3 days off, 4 days on, and the best for last, 7 days off, then start all over. Its the long off every month that makes it worth it to me. I've been asked about going on straight days, no thanks. Even though I lose an off day or two due to training a couple of times a year or an occasional unexpected outage, its not so bad.

I am looking forward to retirement, for my goals I had to write for this year, in the personal development section I put "pursue educational opportunities offered on the Employee Services site - Pension Benefits". I think I may have reached the top rung of the ladder.

114 one hour after getting up - not bad at all after seriously indulging in carbs a couple times yesterday.

I think it was the few pieces of fruit I ate at a party last night. Or just because it's morning
