108 this morning after spending all night in the ER with BH
We stopped at the 24 hour Walgreens and got meds at 3:30 this morning on the way home. Fingers crossed and prayers said that he feels better when he wakes up! I had to get up to let the dog out and call us both in at work today.

I was around that too this morning - just curious from a Type 1 to a Type 2. When you hit 170 in the morning - how long does it take to fall down in to a better number?

It usually takes me 20 minutes to start noticing a drop assuming I take humulog insulin, is it any different for Type 2s? Are type 2s able to get their BG levels down faster?

I've never asked that question before - just curious

The reading of 170 is a better number, it has been 400+ on occasion; and right now, I am going through a transition, to stabilize it. I have to be careful, because I will crash if I don't keep an eye on it. I tend to try too hard and over compensate.

My BS can be vicious, and I have had readings of 50 here recently. It went down to that 5 or 6 times, in a 2 week period. So right now, the only answer that I can proffer to you is, that my BS is incoherent.

Give me about 60 days and ask me again, and I will have a better answer. I came here, because I was ready to pull my hair out, in frustration over my BS.
