a day late, the morning after the 4th, FBG 100! I handled it very well I thought. I ate lots of potato salad, mac and shrimp salad, melon, had a light beer, merlot. I did an intensive hike earlier in the day which I'm sure helped.

It was about 87 this morning, and I could feel it dropping, so I had some cereal with sugar.

Do you feel shaky and sweaty when this happens? My sister asked me this question yesterday because her BIL felt shaky and sweaty, and his sugar was 79. I don't have this problem, so I couldn't really answer her.

Yes I do feel shaky and sweaty when it drops too far; that is why I had the cereal and sugar, to stop a cascade of events.
It is a wretched feeling, and I have had sweat roll off of me, when I became hypoglycemic; and it is like being hit in the head with a brick too.
I get stupid and unresponsive when it hits 60 or so.

A 97 this morning, lets see if me mentally pedaling a bike as I watch the Tour De France has any effect. Too bad I'm working and will have to watch replays for the first week and a half. Maybe I'll pick up the pace walking around at work and hit a few stairs to make my legs burn a little to help.
