A 121 this morning
I've been all over the place the last two weeks. I'm blaming part of it on stress and part of it on lack of exercise.
My mom died last week and we had her funeral this week. I thought I was ok until my brother choked up during the service.
BH's visit to the emergency room last week precluded him from driving for about a week and brought up other issues. He had severe vertigo. When they did a CAT scan in the ER they found some issues that will necessitate going to a neurologist. They could be serious, but thankfully they aren't life threatening.
Enough about me!

Wow, etherea! Under those circumstances, a 121 FBG isn't bad at all. I hope things continue to get better.

I'm finding out just how much stress and anxiety can run your blood sugar up. Before this current period of stress, I could use 3 units of novolog before meals and be fine. Now, I'm having to use 5 and 6. It's unsettling, really.

It's been as high as 139 and as low as 101, but I'm hanging in there. I'm eating the right foods. I just need to get back to exercise and drinking water. My bosses have been very good about allowing me plenty of time off so that isn't a stress area.

I go back to work tomorrow. Between scheduled time off, illness, and my mother's death I've only worked 2 days in the last 3 weeks. I think going back to a schedule will be good for me, though I did enjoy part of being off.

I went to the gym yesterday, it seems to keep all the numbers lower for a day or two.
