I ditched my meter. Maybe it was a mistake to do. But it was always 148 to 152 every morning. The only thing I do now is take the Metformin twice a day. 500 mg tablet in the morning and at night.
The food you eat is the food I mostly dislike. I eat fruit, vegis, lots of bread,
Trying to go to brown bread but itís not as good as white bread...itís ok, but white has more flavor so I mix it up.
Over due for A1C test. Waiting for Dr in August 9th. Then another 4 days for results from LacCorp. If A1C goes up...then I will worry a little....if it goes down from 7.1 then celebrate.
My doctor said last time itís very very minor high sugar. So far so good. No issues

I hope you will be able to celebrate, but it will certainly be no surprise to me if you find you need to worry. A little, nah, more like a lot.

A 100 this morning. It will probably lower some when Tour de France is over or BH decides its not too hot for me to go out and ride my bike, AKA the one man peloton. I used to ride in 100+F temps, not sure of the wisdom of that anymore.

I have trouble saddling up when it's above 80 in the mornings. But, then, I'm a northern boy...

Maybe. I donít know. The A1C kit from the drug store is like $30 so thatís out. $30 for one time use is too much money. The urine test paper was 2 out of four. Thatís all I know.

The hardest thing the Dr. says it’s very very mild. All you folks ha e real high numbers, I don’t. But the food you all eat is something I don’t think I can do. I like to eat breakfast sandwich in the morning with a cup of coffee or at the diner scrambled eggs with bacon and deep fried potato’s..... that’s the way it comes I’m not going to toss it out and 3 pieces of toast with dab grape jelly. I hate oatmeal. It’s sucks. So that’s an example. The change in food seems impossible to me. I don’t know how you people do it. But I DO take Metformin twice a day and have been for awhile now. Tmrw night I’m going to a wedding for my nephew and I know they have a big tall cake with REAL butter cream icing, NO WAY will I pass that up. Can you if you were going??? But I am concerned but doctor says it’s mild. SoI can wait for awhile before eating the food you all eat. Plus i’m embarrassed that I might be a diabetic.

159 this AM - guess the diabetes goddess decided 1 day was enough. Or, it could have been the orangesicle muffin from our new Food Lion that could have done it. Will try 1/2 of one tonight. If it does the same thing, then no more.....
