It was 87 this morning, I don't know if I can do that consistently; but I have managed some pretty good ones, here lately.

A 121 this morning, not sure what caused that. Breakfast was two mini Kind Bars (out of bacon and eggs), lunch was a bunless Jalapeno King burger from Burger King about 2 PM after a doctors appointment. Not hungry last night so just had a couple of ounces sriracha flavored almonds. Maybe my meter was registering Scoville units.

Hi! I'm new here but wanted to participate. My numbers are better than they were in the last 4 months but not down to where you all seem to be. Mine was 218 this morning. (Am I posting correctly)?

Hi Penny, I greeted you in your introductory thread.

Yes you are posting correctly. Read through the forum and jump right in wherever you want. Oh, if you come across a thread that is closed and you really want to contribute to or ask questions about the subject, feel free to start a new thread.

Don't worry about the comparison of FBG numbers. I think most of us started out much higher than we are now and some maybe higher than yours. Also don't stress out how quickly fasting numbers drop, fasting is usually the last to come up and the last to come down compared to pre and post meal numbers. I know mine took a while to get below triple digits with much regularity. Don't get discouraged, just stick with what is lowering your post meal numbers and the fasting and A1c numbers will come around.
