I didn't do a post work test this morning, it had not been long enough since I had last eaten. After a 6 hour sleep I tested at 69 this afternoon.

193 this morning, started taking my meds before bed last night instead of the morning. I'll monitor for a week and see if it changes things.

119 this morning at 5:10am; I had no breakfast yesterday fasted til 1pm had a chicken thigh with butter and broccoli; then around 7pm I had three slices of a tomato with three thick slices of mozzarella. No coffee this morning just yet. At 7:45am I just test my number and it is 107. So the coffee; even just black; I have in the morning may be causing my sugar to go up a bit. I will stretch it out another hour before I have my first cup tomorrow; just to see if it falls more. I am breaking down and having my first cup now.

There is just to much contradictory things said on the web people give up caring.[/QUOTE]

That's why you only believe 5% of what you read on the internet and that's a high percentage. Don't give up caring. You have this condition and you have to deal with it. I neglected mine for many years, thinking it would just go away but it never does. Don't stop testing. It's really important to help you control your diabetes.

139 this morning
My OCD kicked in and I tested on the other hand--142! Yikes! I know it is within the margin of error, but hope springs eternal.
I ate a frozen scallop bacon cream dinner last night that supposedly had 5 grams of carbs--won't buy that again!

164 This morning. 2nd day of taking my meds at bedtime instead of first thing in the morning. Usually my next BS check is high, around 200 or higher, this time it was 178, which I'm happy with. I'd like to see lower numbers but hey, it's a crap shoot and right now I think I'm winning!

The 100 was at around 5:00am; I took my metformin afterwards and no coffee or water. I just tested at 6:55am and its 120?

Yesterday, 2 hours after initial test and no coffee; my number dropped. Today, it went up.

Gonna have to dig deeper into this
