So my masterbath is leaking down to my family room, what a mess. Does stress affect BS? Mine was 215 this morning but I'm not sure why. I've been in the 170s, - 190s for a couple weeks now. I'm stressed over the house, what I need to do next it call my insurance company to see if I'm covered for this. if not ??????

Yes, stress can affect your BS number. I’m sorry you are having so many challenges at the moment but know that they will work out and you will be ok. Take a walk or try to meditate a little or listen to some soothing music

Stress absolutely can affect blood glucose (sugar) -- body stress (like heavy exertion which causes the liver to release glucagon stores) or emotional stress (like possible big home repair bills). Stressful times also can be when we're not as watchful about what (or how much) we eat or exercise or rest, so it can have a subsidiary effect, too.

(Hope the leak is resolved soon!)
