was at 109 this morning.

It somehow seems this forum has lost a lot of its charm. Back in 2011-13 this forum was very vibrant with many new joinees, extensive conversations. Thats not the case now..even on this thread there are only a handful of people posting.....

why is that so ? did something happen ? I was off the forum for a few years as well but just started posting again recently. Not very encouraged by the level of activity

I was off the forum for a few years also Tony. I joined in 2011, was active for a few years, left and came back in 2017.Many of the people I remember are still here, but many are gone. Since I've been back I've tried to welcome new people who post (hoping they will stick around). It is too easy to hide when you're struggling--in fact, there's even a forum thread with the title https://www.diabetesforum.com/diabet...truggling.html

I don't know how to attract/keep new people, but it is important to me to keep this forum going. It's a great source of support.

Hi Tony, I have nothing to compare it to since this is the first diabetes forum I've ever joined. However, I've joined many other types of forums, and they all go through lulls, some more than others.

I love it here. Some of the newbies who started the same time I did no longer post for whatever reason. This forum keeps me accountable.
