I opened a can of mixed nuts, mostly peanuts, last night and probably ate more than I should have. New meter this morning read 123, old meter 105. I got to quit doing that.

Up early on an off day. A 74 on the old meter, an 80 on the new meter. I think I'm going to stop comparing and use up the strips left for the old meter and then just switch over to the new meter.

Thanks for the encouraging words! I sometimes forget how stress affects blood sugar.

My insurance is no longer covering my old meter. I was (am) using One Touch. I still have strips and lancets, so I plan to continue to use up all my strips. I hate when that happens.

Do you think they conspire, mine quit covering Contour and started only covering One Touch?
