Have you changed things you were doing/eating from when you were doing better?

I still avoid junk food and fruit but I'm eating more snacks like nuts and cheese (with triscuits). I bought a Paleo Diet book but haven't been that interested in following its recipes.

I used to buy Triscuits before T2. They have about 20 carbs a serving .

I know there are recipes out there to make keto-diet-compatible crackers. I also know I'm too busy to make them myself.

When I want to put something on a "cracker," I find that a cucumber, cut not-too-thinly, does the job decently well and doesn't cost me 20 grams of carbs per serving (who eats just one serving anyway when they're snacking?).

5.3 this morning. Best I have had in months. I’ve been bad. Extensively so. HbA1c was done this week and my doc has rung to ask me to come in and discuss. *scary*. I’d been sitting on 7% for a year and I just blew it since before Christmas. I’m betting on over 8.
