5.2. Had to bolus for last night's meal, so a big overnight dip to just over 3. Luckily I don't go hypo in the sense of getting savage symptoms until my levels are nearer 2, and I havent let myself go there for years.

Last night had two frozen Belgian waffles. Not one, Yikes, two.
With very little sugar free syrup. It was good!

6.2 bit of a carby meal last night but I didnt bolus, so quite pleased with this morning's reading. sometimes it doesnt come down by much at all.

Ok I was 130 this morning; not exactly what I expected since I was shoveling a lot of heavy clay soil drenched in water. So, I thought I would be a lot lower. But hey its out of my control. Maybe tomorrow I will be surprised?

I think the liver stockpiles a little glucose and saves it for special occasions like when you work muscles hard and burn a little glucose. It then can replenish the glycogen stores in the muscles. Sometimes it works overtime when it doesn't need to. Or at least mine does, especially in the summertime. Hope tomorrow is a much more pleasant surprise.
