A 103 this afternoon after first night of graveyard shift.

Do we need to retrofit the wagon with seat belts? LOL.

153 this morning has to do with me rupturing my left quad tendon yesterday morning. Surgery to reattach is scheduled for next Thursday July 11; then I have a 3-4 month recovery period.

What's odd is the following: July 3rd fasting glucose was: 121 plan was to skip breakfast and then have lunch; rupture tendon around 8:30am. Hauled off to ER; xray and CT scan then advised to see Orthopedic surgeon for consult immediately from the ER. Left orthopedic surgeons office with surgery date; came home felt weak, then had chills and broke out into sweat. I thought my blood sugar was low; tested and it was 153 and this was 21 hours into a fast (quite unintended). Finally ate a little beef with garlic sauce to go with the percocet at 9:00pm. This morning my fasting blood sugar is 153.

Not taking anything today so far; pain is not as bad as yesterday which is a good thing.
