3.6 at waking. Straight into shower, and a 5.3 after that. Weird? And a 7 after a cup of coffee. Sighh.

ok this was an eye opener for me today a whopping 167!
In recovery they gave me 2 saltine crackers and water in order to take the oral pain meds. No food later until 7:30pm; had broccoli; roasted chicken thigh with skin plus extra butter on the broccoli and a fat bomb.

Pain level was wicked yesterday afternoon; but I only took 4 of the 6 Hydrocodones that I was supposed to; I want to see how much I can tolerate. Much of the pain was in a burning sensation in my thigh from the femoral block which is pretty much gone now. So far, I have not taken anything yet for pain this morning; not hungry just 2 cups of coffee. Will see as the day goes.
Bandages under the brace can come off tomorrow then will need to be re-braced. Good thing my wife went to vet school so she can do some of this stuff.

Considering what your body is going through right now, fjk, I'd say you're managing pretty well. I hope the pain continues to diminish quickly!

Good morning. I'm happy to see a 97. Last time I tested a few days ago was 99.

I haven't posted in a while as I'm not testing but maybe once or twice a week, sometimes less.

I am still eating a low carb keto diet, intermittent fasting fairly often and eat one meal a day fairly often.

@bignick Always glad to hear from you. Sounds like you got things right where you want them. I hope to be out roaming Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming area sometime in early October. Wish i could be out that way full time.
