It has improved since last time you posted.

Slept in this morning. I decided to eat some breakfast, 3 fried eggs and 3 slices of bacon, and my bullet proof coffee. It dawned on me a couple of hours after eating that I didn't test when I got up.

Did fasting glucose three times in a row this morning one after another and got three different readings...191 then 152 then 171. I’m wasting my time with the meter. A1C only is the way to go.
Try your meter testing 3 times and see if it happens to you.

Regarding these different BG levels. It's not your meter. It's your blood.

What I mean is that blood is not homologous. Different bits will have different concentrations of all components of blood, including glucose. That's why it is a waste of strips to test more than once (unless it is so far off from what is expected that a good hand wash and retest would be indicated.)

Testing results are rarely a straight line. But trends can be determined and that is important, also.
