My fasting BG was getting better for awhile, but now is getting higher. My fasting BG is almost always higher than an hour after my OMAD keto meal. My only carbs are like spinach, romaine, cucumber, arugula,etc. I NEVER have a problem with lows and it is super rare to have a reading in the normal range. I think that the closest I come to a normal BG reading is one hour testing after my meal. I am getting discouraged and would welcome any input.

A 96 this morning. Supper was with some added carbs, I had some tostones (fried green plantains) and some anasazi beans (retrograded and with resistant potato starch added).

Vicky, I responded to your question in the Exercise thread. I'll try to find something I posted in the past and put a link to it later.

@vicky3vicky

I wonder if your doctor has ever tested you for insulin production. You are eating very few carbs but still have higher than normal BG. Could be that a reduced insulin production isn't enough for you.

she said that test was unnecessary as my tryglycerides are so high and thatwould not happen unless I had lots of insulin. I was thinking of setting my alarm early, around 4:30 am, and then do lite excercise for about 10 minutes, then back to bed. could that help?

I did two fasting this Moroni 0ng. The first reading was 151 and within seconds I used same blood drop and got 130. I guess I’ll take the lower result of 130.
So my fasting was 130 which is excellent.
