I hate those nights -- and we don't even have a dog anymore. Hope you sleep better tonight!

Woot! My CGM said 87 this AM so I did a meter check ... is that real?

Yes! Meter was 83.

I am so stoked The Dexcom, in just 10 days, has helped me so much.

Last two mornings have been pretty good. Unfortunately I have to stop eating by 9pm for my readings to fall within target in the morning. The last meal of the day is also very low carb - like a piece of steak and some raw spinach but the results are worth it - yesterday I measured in at 70 and this morning 120. The trick now is to be able to do it long enough so it becomes the new normal.

Ever since I got back from my vacation, I've been having a little trouble with my A1C. Do y'all go through this?

Sorry you're having a bit of A1c struggle - we can all relate I'm sure. Definitely working on mine these days too.

Since starting working straight days Mon-Fri, typically getting less exercise, more office time at the computer, and it brings on nervous nibbling. If BH puts a couple of days worth of nuts in my back pack, sometimes I might take a week to eat them if I am busy, or like the last couple of days that are more stressful, I may scarf them all down in 5 minutes. My FBG this morning is 106.

I need to start weighing thngs again and do a macro count reality check.. I may be exceeding my carb limit or exceeding the amount of protein I really need. On vacations, I know I overdo protein and it affects my FBG. My A1c, 3-6 months, have stayed in the 5.3 - 5.4% range the last couple of years.
