I went to a church dinner last night. No one told me it was a spaghetti dinner! Oh well, salad, one meatball and wine and all was good. Two hours later my BG was 92.

Can't wine be brilliant? I was afraid to drink at all (even a glass) until I understood better how insulin affects me but finally, cautiously, months later, reintroduced wine. When I know I'll be drinking 2 glasses of wine, I don't bolus for dinner and my bg behaves

Oh, and 97 this AM.

I had a rough weekend at work, and it showed in my semi-fasting blood sugars. I worked 3 straight double shifts, 4pm-8am so meal times and sleep patterns were totally out of whack. This afternoon's reading was 134.
