147 The past two months have been 'unhelpful' due to circumstances (steroids and budget constraints) that interfere. Have had to rely more on carb foods and that will be true until December. Ugh. Besides the high BGs, I've gained a few pounds. This has to stop.

111 today. Higher than usual because I've gone gluten- and dairy-free, and haven't made the right adjustments to my diet. I'll get there.

Gluten-free food choices can be a black hole, especially bread and pastas. Finding choices that are both GF and LC takes some searching and/or homemade producing you own. It's expensive either way. I'm working on finding substitutes for anything made from grain of any sort. When I followed my own 'diet plan' faithfully (not rigidily) it worked very well. It's a matter of getting the right foods into my pantry. Keep on keeping on; it can be done (as I keep reminding myself of the same thing).

110 this morning; numbers lower than 120 set a positive tone to the day for me.
