I was at 6 mmol/L or 106 mg/dl (depending on what measure you use) unfortunately my BGs dropped mid morning and by 10 am I had dropped down to 60 mg/dl.
This is the amazing thing for anyone with diabetes - how quickly some processed carbs will affect your BGS. When I was at 60 mg/dl, I had a normal sized croissant, no icing or filling or anything just a plain croissant - from data I have collected over the years - I knew that a crosissant raises my BGs by about an additional 80 md/dl give or take a few points. An hour after eating this croissant I was hitting 145 md/dl.
Having said that, and this is important - that's how that croissant affected me, it could potentially have a different affect on someone else - so if your BGS run low - go with what works for you.

Fasting Blood Sugar Reading: 100.00 mg/dL.

@1:15pm
more than 12 hours of sleep. This snowstorm has made me weary.
I know not really a morning reading but it was when I woke up.
