I was wondering how many of you, if any, use computers or the like to track their reading. I was thinking about doing this, especially for hubby. If you do, can you recommend a program or if anyone knows any that are free I would appreciate some feedback. The program they have for our meters is 40 bucks, and before I fork out that type of money, I wanted to ask y'all here.
I use the accu check 360. It not only allows me to download the daa my meter stores, but to manipulate how I like. I can also track my blood work panels and weight. It also allows for multiple users to enter data.
I have a Bayer Contour meter and manually input numbers into MS Excel. Use the Excel charts to trend monthly and yearly instead of buying cable and software. Just ordered the Contour USB and should get it tomorrow.
I could send you a copy of what I use but used mainly for charting daily fasting numbers only
I use Microsoft Health Vault (free) to track my blood pressure. It is sent automatically from the machine to the website when I plug it into my computer. You can do the same thing with your glucometer. I know that OneTouch supports it, I bet the others do too.
