Here is my advice... read everything you can and every way to help your condition... keep reading and following the breadcrumbs when things start making sense... (anyone see what I did there? )

You need to find your way that will work for you and if you start down a road and it doesnt help or its too hard... find another path but I am sure you will find a pa that works for you.

I saw so many things that contradicted and also was against everything I ever learned but the more I read, the more the path I took made loads of sense so I followed what made sense and I am a better and more healthy person because of it.

Ask questions... then when you have no more questions... find some more to ask. One day a light bulb will go off and you will find your comfort zone!

We are here to support you and help you with the path that YOU choose for yourself

I use the information at Blood Sugar 101 as the standard with which to compare all other information on diabetes. The information there is accurate and up-to-date.

Most doctors are locked into the low-fat/high-carb way because they just don't know better. They think that losing weight and exercising will help pre-diabetics, but their idea of a weight loss diet is the same as most people think - reduce calories, eat low-fat and lots of whole grain products, avoid red meat and animal fats. That would be okay .... if that way actually worked.
