Default Pins and Needles

I woke up this morning with pins and needles in my hand.
I have had this before, but it is usually from sleeping on it and comes right once the pressure is removed.
It has been there nearly 12 hours now.
I have hypothyrodism and T1 Diabetes and was wondering if this is normal and if it will be like this for a while?

I don't know if it is related to your diabetes or not. Could you have carpal tunnel syndrome?

I don't know............just a guess.

I agree with Ruby, I had the same problem for many years and it was carpal tunnel. A simple out-patient surgery was performed and the problem disappeared. If it was diabetes then it would be neuropathy which is more likely to occur in the feet and lower legs than the hand. I suggest you see a neurologist and have the problem disgnosed.

I actually have similar symptoms to that,. I was diagnosed with GBS a while back and i have remaining symptoms.

try doing a Google search on Peripheral Neuropathy, to see if you have the same symptoms.

try checking out this
