Default Urinary Incontinence

Hi All,

Do any of you have trouble controlling your urine? I find that when I got to go to the bathroom I have to go right then. Now I also have a fibroid tumor. I just want to know if you think diabetes have anything to do with it. It will just start coming down my legs if I don't get to the bathroom fast. All comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

I know what you mean. For me, I think it's part weak muscles that go along with aging (those exercises do help some). Could also (for me) be related to the pinched nerve in my lower back.

I have found some benefit in controlling my water intake. Not the amount, but the schedule. Drink enough to rehydrate in the morning and between meals - cut off liquids 1 hour before a meal and 2 hrs after (sip only enough to accommodate food and supplements). Doing this helps a lot in that I'm not constantly having to run to the bathroom. (It also helps my digestion because aging also reduces stomach acid.)

My wife has this issue but for her itís unknown what is wrong. She drinks 1-4 gallons of water a day and her blood sugars are normal so are her electrolytes.
