Default Cracked Feet

Hi all,

How do you handle cracked heels? My feet keep drying out. They have did it so much that I have gotten a split from one of my cracks that make my foot hurt sometimes when I stay on it too long. What methods do you all use? All comments welcome. Thanks in advance to all.

I use a heavy-duty moisturizer that I apply just before I go to bed. I find the lighter products don't "stick around" long enough to repair the damage. There are over-the-counter moisturizers at your local pharmacy specifically designed for dry cracked hands and feet. I would check them out first.

I keep my feet and heels well moisturized. Especially after showering. I'll rub great quantities on my heels and then put cotton socks on.

I have the same problem with my thumbs and go to great lengths to keep them moisturized and to wear rubber gloves when I get my hands wet or dirty.

I use a back brush to wash my feet. Usually, I don't need any cream, but foot cream works best. I drink lots of fluids.

I haven’t had issues with it but BH has. She uses a pumice stone to rub off excess dry skin and uses Avon Footwork moisturizer. For pain when her heal does split open, she uses anything with a high % of lidocaine in it. One product she found is called RectiCare and has 5% in it.

After hitting submit, she said it’s not nearly as bad now that she wears shoes most of the time instead of going barefoot all the time.

Is your blood glucose currently under control? The reason I am asking is that I had horrible issues with my feet back before I knew I had diabetes. They would get super dry and crack. It seemed like NOTHING helped consistently. It was only after my A1C began normalizing that I suddenly realized I no longer had problems with my feet.

My glucose is not controlled. I was told to eat gluten free meals because my blood test is leaning to one positive and one negative. They are going to have to do a biopsy to make sure. I have seen some gluten meals like "Dumealz" that serve fresh healthy meals. I want to try it to help me out.

I use Eurcyrin (sp?) active repair cream daily after a shower, then put on cotton sock over them. Took about two months, but my doc says I have "pretty feet" LOL

Default Cracked Feet CURE

Go to the drug store, CVS I know carries it. Buy a tin of BAG BALM. Wash your feet and apply, put on white socks for over night, and wake up to BABY SMOOTH SKIN. If you have a lot of callous, you may need a second application. But this will ABSOLUTELY CURE CRACKED FEET OVERNIGHT!

TO ALL WITH CRACKED FEET! People who are NOT DIABETIC get this too. The answer is Bag Balm, available at CVS and most pharmacies, maybe even Walmart in the pharmacy. IT WILL CURE CRACKED FEET OVERNIGHT!
