My goodness - the first thought that popped in my head after reading your question was - Plan to take a week off of work and not think about it - hahahaha
Doing a meal plan is probably a better idea :smile2:
Spend an hour on the Field of Dreams baseball diamond as a starting left fielder with black pinstripe jersey, cap, 1" cleats, a Willie Mays glove, and the smell of velvet grass in the air. In one hour we can get thru 4 innings. During those 4 innings i will get 2 at bats at the plate. The first at bat i lead off and slice the ball into the alley between center and right for a double. The second at bat has the bases loaded and i hit a line drive to left center to clear the bases with another double to a cheering crowd as our team wins 4 to 3.
Then the hour expires and walk off into the corn fields
My luck would be that I was chasing a deep fly ball to the left field fence and upon jumping up to make the catch, realize the roar of the crowd was just a combine.
Good question. Not think about my health for one hour. I spend to much time, researching, thinking and learning about my health disorders, would be nice to take a 1 hour vacation from it all.
Next question: "If you had 2hrs per day to invest in your health, what would you do?"
my answer: 1 hr cardio and strength training. 1 hr of get refreshed time.
The 1 hr of get refreshed time could be as simple as have a coffee and listen to music, read a book, stretch, spend time with family, etc. It is time to relax, enjoy, be grateful.
Edit: it just occurred to my that the workout is a form of 'get refreshed' time as well.
Read-no money required because I already have more books than I can read in a lifetime. Learn some new crafts or brush up on some old language skills--at one time I studied Latin, Spanish and French.
I expect to lose 30 lbs and become free of diabetes. Then I'll stuff my face with junk food until I get diabetes again. Then I'll lose that same 30 lbs. Just kidding. I've already done this. I will not be doing it again.
Does owning a pet help reduce blood sugar levels? I know that pets reduce stress...
