You could be right.

I have been reading up on meters, for the first time, due to encountering these differences.

Assuming, and I say that lightly, that lab A1C tests are the closest to accurate, if so, I might be inclined to move back to once a day at home blood tests once I am past learning which foods affect me negatively.

I think you could drive yourself crazy if indeed tests are that inaccurate?!

A learning experience. As for the rest, time will tell.

I have been to crazy and back, I think you reached the same conclusion that I did.

I use the OneTouch Verio Flex. It seems to work ok and auto syncs to the OneTouch Reveal app on my iPhone, and the app has a lot of customization to it, specifically reminders to test and take meds.

Still.....just seems like it's missing something.
