I have been to the opthalmologist twice in the past year because my vision improved when I took control of my BG. And he says as long as I keep my BG levels where they are, I should never expect to see the blurs come back because of diabetes.

That was so scary, strongest reading glasses on the shelf and I still couldn't see close up and the weirdest thing was the reading glasses made my distance vision work.

No the weirdest thing is when I first got sick with the thirst my close up vision got Incredibly good for a wile.

I could see each pixel on the screen, the smallest individual fibers on tissue and paper my clothing the threads, my finger prints for the first time in years. But my distance vision went blurry with that.

Then came the part where near and far was blurry and that was scary. I couldn't tell how people were feeling unless I was right up close with the glasses, never knew how much a face really tells till I couldn't see them.

Just as long you don't start seeing double. That's a more serious problem.

When I first got diagnosed and my BG for 350, I was seeing floater spots and my general vision was better with my glasses off but for watching movies, I would keep my glasses on and put my readers over the top and watch tv with both pairs on. Thankfully, my vision returned to normal after my BG was controlled.
