For those who want to view a simulated version of how insulin gets glucose into a cell thru a cascade of signaling proteins as if one was witnessing it inside a human body, this video comes with special sound affects, colors, and graphic details.

Inflammation and Type 2 Diabetes
And here is how inflammation via the white cells affects the islet cells and more specifically beta cells in a harmful way. This is a simulated version.
