Default BG of 175 to 67 in One Hour

My first meal of the day was a Wendys Burger, large fries and a diet coke. This is the first time I ate fast food in over one year.
  • Pre meal BG (unknown)
  • 1 Hour postprandial 175
  • 2 hour postprandial 67
  • 15/mins later 57

Crazy! I don't take any medication whatsoever.

Looks like a case of reactive hypoglycemia. It appears your pancreas is capable of overproducing insulin. Has this happened before?

I normally don't eat this way. I eat mostly plant based.
The 57 was after walking up and down a flight of stairs a few times (carrying some boxes). The 67, I was being a couch potato.

I have had some crazy swings myself, I have yet to make sense of it all. I don't think that I can really, so I deal with whatever presents itself. I learned to do that the hard way, since I was the one taking the hits.
