Hi Hearts Jounrey NO...my son is away in London this weekend at a wedding ...he said when he gets back he is going to contact his specialist and get answers to why he has just been left.
NHS for you
Okay, I did a little more digging behind the scenes and found a Geoff_Evans who last visited the forum in Aug. 2012. So if that's the one, he's long gone. The name still doesn't come up in a member search (no sure why).
The thread in question is here. It also is six years old, which is why it was closed. Geoff's (and John's, in the thread) diagnosis was in error, as apparently your son's was, @Lily_B.
Sadly, there is a great deal of old information and fixed attitudes out there in MedicaLand (borne of many reasons) -- as well as the amount we do not yet know about diabetes and similar endocrine disorders -- so sometimes we (as patients and caregivers) have to slow down the process enough to point out what no longer seems reasonable to assume so we get the treatment we need.
itissteve thank you for your reply.
I was trying to find out the final outcome, as I posted my sons, I find some OPs are not actually finished off and your left wondering, it's just nice to have an update later to see how they're getting on
It's a real shame, especially when folk connect with a certain post and would like to see how they do ...
Hey ho..life goes on :smile2:
