Default Onetouch data

As the freestyle Insulinx data comes out as 2 days on a sheet and the rest blanků.I considered going back to Onetouch verio or ultra 2.

Used to be I had software on the windows 7 that would get the data from the device (without internet) and I could put it into a spreadsheet. Worked very well for see progress or worse!

I called them and they say I now need an app and the internet. The way to get the data is to upload it to their company and then download it in some form. I guess they sell the data from all those meters!

Does anyone know what the software was for the onetouch Verio and Ultra2 that worked in windows 7?

Thanks all

I used to log my readings onto an Excel spreadsheet, but when I got my Bayer Contour USB meter I quit using my spread sheet and just synced it to the Bayer software I had downloaded to my laptop. I don't remember if it went to their website or not. I haven't used that since getting a new laptop and a new meter. The Contour Next is capable of bluetoothing the info to an app on my phone. I did that for a little bit but have quit using that meter for now since insurance doesn't pay for the strips.

When I run out of strips for my old contour meter (I gave the USB to my daughter) I will be getting whatever meter they approve strips for and hope it has bluetooth and a phone app. I have never used another brand of meter, so I cant' help you with your question. I think a One Touch meter is what my prescription provider will support now.

I need to look back at my past meter readings more than I do, but I pretty much know what I should and shouldn't eat, however a swift kick in the pants with what I have really done vs what I think I've done reality check is a good reminder not to be so lax sometimes with what I eat and a bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to stay caught up, at least on the only one I have had dealings with.

I use an app on my android phone called 'mySugr'.

I have about 3 different meters, no matter where I am I seem to always have my phone so I manually enter my readings into the phone app.
