I usually test myself on average 4 - 6 times a day. I'm a right handed guitarist which makes testing my finger tips on the left hand - problematic thanks to my Calluses.

It's a good thing I have excellent circulation otherwise it would be a real chore. I'm still thinking about the free-style libre but I noticed in their TV Commercials a disclaimer in little fine print - almost impossible to read - that they won't guarantee the accuracy of their meters.

Wonder if all glucometers use the same disclaimer to avoid liability or is accuracy with the Freestyle an issue?

The technology for glucometers/strips isn't sophisticated enough to be more than 10%-15% range of variance. I suspect to get the higher technology would make them out of most people's price range.

When I play my guitar I use the tips of my fingers, except if I am playing a 'bar' cord! Regardless, all my finger sticks are on the sides of my finger, well away from the tips....it is pretty much painless on the sides, unless I let my lancet get dull...
