26 mile bike ride on the trainer yesterday. Weather looks crummy today so I guess I'll be inside.

A 16.6 mile bike ride on the trainer. KC looked like they could use a little help going into the 4th quarter and I needed to ride, so brought the trainer into the living room and pedaled until they won.

Busy weekend trying to replace two older purple martin boxes. Got thru with them yesterday afternoon, just in time to see a couple of scouts flying around. Wasn't expecting to see any for a couple of more weeks.

I had another house that I wanted to take down and replace with gourds, but since I haven't figured out how to use the existing framework without distorting it, I haven't ordered the gourds yet. So today I went ahead put half of it up after seeing the scouts yesterday. It consists of 4 tiers of 4 individual apartments. I put just the top 2 tiers up so 8 rooms instead of 16. As soon as I figure out how to adapt the rest of the frame to securely hang the gourds, I'll get them coming.

Hope I can beat the majority of the martins getting here.

I do that way too often

I knew things were fixing to start picking up at work. 11,537 steps and 27 floors yesterday, today 12,341 steps and 65 floors.

It's been a busy 2 weeks at work preparing for a maintenance outage. Lots of steps and stairs. Lots more steps to come over the next month and longer hours.

Only one quick 5 mile ride on the trainer the other night just to see if the trainer's new software helped out its accuracy any. Fixing to ride on it again right now.
