I never heard of a mix-up like this:

Wild!

I'm not sure how that could happen. Who supplied the alleged flu vaccine, did the contracted pharmacist giving the injections not read the label, how did authorities know it was long lasting insulin this quick unless the vial was labeled?

Just googling to see if anyone else report this, I find multiple incidents of this same mistake recently. Now I won't take a chance on getting a flu shot unless I carb up first.

Here's one from Fox News that also mentions an incident at an Indiana high school just last month involving insulin instead of a TB skin test just last month.

REally sloppy. They should be double checking with someone else before administering.

There was a nurse in Toronto Ontario that killed several people by injecting them with insulin but that was premeditated - sounds like in these cases it was more of logistical stupidity. It further supports my theory that we as a species and society have reached our pinnacle of intelligence and now it's all down hill LOL ....

And while it seems that the upper limit of the intelligence graph is finite, what is currently trending downward under the x axis is appearing to be infinite.
