In a rural backwater like ours, city hall wears many hats, including go-between for the single solitary ISP at that time, as well as the electric coop and other agencies who wish to provide a face with their services, but have not the resources to open an office at every crossroads. USPS may even have a window at city hall!

Woha Sharon, That's goi'n back a few years.
I still remember the dawn of the internet like 1979 when browsers, What are they??
I had the old DOS screen and DOS V 5.0 was king!!!! and we herd that a super wired network was awesome. The speed is something that I don't miss and my mom complaining, GET OFF THE PHONE!!!!!!!! or my sister is mumbling on it.
Then came Microsoft's Windows and the first browser was Netscape and the HTTP was born. I think that the browsing hasn't changed much and of course hakers will exploit this. With all that we have today to keep our system's clean of viruses. They will still use the browser's weaknesses to gain accsess to plant an executable in your computer.
With all the fixers that makes browsing more of a pleasure and the speed that we have now, We still have the HTTP V 4.0 today!!!!!! One day something gotta give.
What's keeping the Hakers at bay is the updates to our browsers and other updates.
BTW our Mobile's are the same, Update them too!!!

Thank you Bob, for the good tips. This is an excellent site which offers a lot both informationwise and technically . Im not overly au fait with too many functions on computers as my work doesnt require it. I just use the most simplistic functions.
