my wife had Gestational Diabetes..

she had to take insulin when she was pregnant..
and could stop the insulin as soon as she delivered the baby..

She is close to being a diabetic now..
With diet and regular workout she is maintaining ok.
We did not plan much - but after the 1st one we kind of know she is very likely to get Gestational Diabetes..

Do YOU have diabetes, SP? If you do, click over to the introductions board and tell us about yourself and how you manage your diabetes. Right now, you're posting on some old threads.

stephane - I see you are new to this board. Would you post a thread in the Introduce Yourself section so we can get to know you better? Tell us about your diabetes journey and what you are doing now to manage it. Thanks.

Stephanie, in your intro thread a few days ago, you said that you're not diabetic and that your mom had GD when she was pregnant with you. Have you found out otherwise in the past two days? Please continue in your http://www.diabetesforum.com/introdu...tml#post467137 thread by telling us the details of the healthy diet prescribed by your doctor to treat your GD.
